The schedule to actually follow on a turbo is stricter than the book. Those warranties are long gone, so the surviving fix is simple: full synthetic oil every 5,000 miles and the updated PCV kit. Know also which Saab you have. The 9-2x is a Subaru Impreza with a timing belt due at 105,000 miles, and the 9-7x and 9-4x are GM trucks in Saab clothing that follow GM intervals and parts. Saab is gone but not orphaned; Orio still supplies factory parts.
