“My CVT transmission failed on my 2016 Nissan Altima. I almost had an accident on the expressway. These transactions fail often on these Nissans. My warranty has expired. Nissan refused to compensate me. There needs to be a recall on them.”
“The transmission failed in the middle of a traffic controlled intersection. I was almost hit a few times (flashers engaged). No motion was possible in either direction. Was later replaced at a cost of $6100 by a local transmission shop.”
“THE CAR STARTED SHACKING ONCE IT WOULD GO ABOUT 25-30 MPH. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON AFTER AND IT WAS READ BY A MECHANIC AS A CODE P0841-TRANSMISSION FLUID PRESSURE SENSOR/SWITCH. THIS HAPPENS ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAY DRIVING.”
