“When the brakes are applied during normal driving the pedal travels 2-3 inches before the brakes start to apply. During a panic stop and a strong force on the pedal it will travel almost to the floor. ABS never applies except on loose surfaces, i. e., snow, gravel and sand”
“The brakes on the truck do not begin to engage until the brake pedal is depressed greater than 50% of its travel. The initial feedback of the brake pedal within the first 50% of travel is numb with virtually no resistance”
“When coming to a stop the truck has a very spongey pedal, in order to stop the vehicle you must allow for the stop by applying brake way in advance to be able to stop. When you applying pressure to the brake pedal the pedal is soft and goes almost to the carpet floor”
