In the affected vehicles, the driver's frontal air bag inflator may have been manufactured with an incorrect part. | In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the driver's air bag, the incorrect part may block the flow of propellant to the air bag and the air bag's inflator may rupture. The rupture could cause metal fragments to strike and potentially seriously injure the vehicle occupants. | Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front driver air bag inflator, free of charge.
