11726728 The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over and restarted the vehicle.
11737491 While on the open road, no vehicles or obstructions ahead or behind, the jeep suddenly and momentarily jolted. Causing a similar reaction to what it feels like to have a minor collision, a sudden application of brakes, or perhaps a similar feeling hitting something small at highway speeds.
11728373 Vehicle traveling at highway speeds 70 mph, will suddenly slam on brakes. While there is nothing in front of the vehicle and or sensor. weather type was clear not a sight of rain or snow.

11703536 Upon engine start up at the home of my S/O, [XX], the warning "Service Automatic Throttle Control" appeared on the dashboard. Placing the vehicle into gear first in reverse, then in drive resulted in sudden acceleration and erratic lurching. I had no brakes whatsoever.
11618233 On Thursday October 3rd I was driving in stop and go city traffic. After accelerating to leave from a light my jeep died in the middle of the intersection. Total loss of power and slammed to a stop almost causing the person behind me to hit me.
FARS counts every occupant death in a fatal crash, whatever the cause — it does not mean the vehicle was at fault or defective. Counts are not adjusted for how many of each vehicle are on the road.
